The T2000 mobile radio is now discontinuted

The T2000 mobile radio series has been a top-performing standard bearer for Tait in the mobile radio market for more than 10 years. T2000 series radios have covered a wide range of applications over the years, from small team-based operations to large-scale transport fleets.

However,T2000 mobiles are now no longer manufactured by Tait. These radios have now been replaced with the rugged, high performing and easy-to-use TM8000 conventional and MPT 1327 trunked mobiles.

TM8000 conventional radios provide a range of fast and reliable communications solutions for all types of applications. They include:

  • TM8110: 10 channels, 1-digit display
  • TM8115: 100 channels, 2-digit display
  • TM8250: 1500 channels, large alphanumeric display
  • TM8260: Dual band, 1500 channels per band, large alphanumeric display

New TM8000 Trunked Mobiles

TM8000 trunked radios provide comprehensive voice and data solutions for trunked radio applications. These radios provide flexible coverage for users, supporting multiple MPT 1327 networks while also operating in conventional mode when outside network coverage areas. They include:

  • TM8235: MPT 1327 trunked radio, 3-digit display
  • TM8255: Dual mode conventional/MPT 1327 trunked, large alphanumeric display.
