Tait North America has opened a new Technical Support Centre in Houston, Texas.

Headed by Technical Manager Scott Quintavalle, the new office will provide all product support for Tait North America customers.

The new office means a return home for Scott, a Southerner who has lived in Texas for most of the 15 years he has been with Tait.

"We have previously had a US sales and service centre in Houston and have recognised the need once again to provide support functions from here," says Scott.

"With the concerted push to grow our US business, much of which will be in the Southern States, this is the right place for us to be."

Scott has a team of eight people offering full technical services to support customers in the use of all Tait products. Primarily, the centre offers telephone assistance to the Tait Dealer Network for both system products and user terminals. A full repair facility now enables a quick turnaround on repairs for customers in the United States.

Additionally, the Technical Centre also provides comprehensive Engineering Services such as project managing, engineering and design, commissioning and installation of large system projects, such as Tait Quasi-Sync and TaitNet MPT 1327 systems.

Tait's Canadian customers continue to be supported with a Canadian technical facility in Markham, Ontario.
