Raccoon Wins 2002 Technology Award

Wireless Data, the Tait wholly owned subsidary specialising in mobile data, was recently awarded for its development of the innovative Raccoon Communications Controller.
Judges for the 2002 Technology Commendation Awards were impressed enough with the Raccoon to award a 'highly commended certificate' from the 24 entrants.
The Raccoon is designed to remotely control, monitor and receive critical information to and from vehicles in the field. These intelligent Communication Controllers being deployed in mobile data projects across New Zealand, providing essential data to customers with a variety of applications, including milk pump monitoring, alarm monitoring, vehicle telemetry (speed, braking patterns etc) and monitoring of refrigerated goods temperatures.
Its communication, GPS and software expansion capabilities all combine to make the Raccoon an essential part of any in-vehicle mobile data kit.
