Date : July 28, 2005
Tait Electronics will have a strong presence at APCO Asia 2005, the first Association of Public Safety Communications Officials conference to be held in Asia.
APCO Asia 2005 is a three-day event to be held from 3-5 August, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The conference examines new technological developments and the working practices of public safety agencies, to enable users to implement effective communications solutions to meet ever-changing demands.
Tait is a major sponsor of APCO Asia 2005, partnering with its exclusive Malaysia distributor, O'Connor's Engineering.
Tait will demonstrate its advanced new range of APCO P25 digital products at booth B of the event - the TP9100 portables, TM9155 mobile, TB9100 base station and its IP-based P25 digital network.
Conference attendees will witness the class leading robustness and audio clarity of the Tait portable and mobile radios; learn about the IP-based P25 network, which connects the intelligent new TB9100 digital base stations; and also hear about Tait's proven successes in migrating users from analogue to digital products, while enabling complete interoperability between user and organisational groups.
"Tait is proud to be involved with APCO Asia 2005, it is an important event for us in the Asia region. APCO is a thriving organisation in regions such as North America, Europe and Oceania, and we are very keen to support its expansion into Asia," says Rhod Pickavance, Tait Vice President International Business Development.
Tait will chair day two of the conference, and Jan Noordhof, Product Manager Digital Infrastructure, will present a speech on Interoperability - The Key To Efficient And Effective National Security.
