Tait is now supplying T2000 mobile radio terminals to London Buses Ltd, after Tait Europe presented the only tender which allowed retention of the existing Starnet network installed in the buses.

Tait's solution for London Bus Ltd, a part of Transport for London, is based on the T2000 analogue mobile radio terminal which has been modified to replace existing user modes as well as electrical and mechanical electrical interfaces.   The new radios also deliver enhanced control, communication and maintenance capabilities.

Tait Europe is currently supplying an initial order for 1500 terminals to Transport for London.
