Tait Europe Unveils New Solutions at Trade Events

Tait Europe has had a busy few months, reaching out to its markets by attending various trade events across Europe and unveiling new solutions.

EuroBus Expo 2006

The most recent of these events, EuroBus Expo in Birmingham held on 7-9 November, gave Tait Europe an opportunity to showcase its new high-speed TaitNet Data System (TNDS) solution which helps bus operators to improve customer service and provide real-time passenger information.

"Our ground-breaking new solution is targeted at the transport sector and differs from other market offerings due to its fully integrated voice and data capabilities. TNDS also offers much faster polling rates than existing solutions," says Tait Europe Regional Marketing Manager Colin Eade.

"Our TNDS solution was well received at EuroBus Expo 2006 and we're expecting high demand for this solution from bus operators throughout Britain and Europe," he adds.

ITS World Congress and Exhibition 2006

Tait Europe also exhibited at the Intelligent Transport Systems and Services World Congress and Exhibition 2006 in London on 9-12 October, to showcase the TNDS solution and target technology solutions providers and systems integrators for the transport market.

"As the meeting of the ITS world congress, the exhibition provided an excellent arena in which to build new and develop existing relationships," Colin says.

PMR Expo 2006

Tait demonstrated its commitment to developing its business in German-speaking markets by having a key presence at the PMR Expo in Leipzig, Germany on 17-19 October.

Tait Europe shared a stand with its German distributor, GCD Systeme, and the stand drew strong numbers of show attendees. A key networking event of the show was a reception hosted by Tait and GCD Systeme, which attracted more than 60 attendees.

"Tait received interest in both our MPT 1327 trunked range and our P25 digital offering, and we made some very useful contacts," Colin says.

Upcoming Event - Communication Radio Professional Exhibition

Tait Europe's next event is the Communication Radio Professional Exhibition in France on 23-24 January 2007. The company will showcase Tait's APCO P25 digital products and solutions, and will also offer attendees the chance to preview the TNDS.

"Previously the show has proved very productive with a chance to meet existing customers, and it has also been worthwhile in generating some new business," Colin says.

"Tait has a number of important customers in France, and this show proves an effective tool in communicating with these key businesses and learning about new trends within the French PMR market," he adds.
