The Radio Club of America has awarded Sir Angus Tait the Fred M. Link Award for 2006, for his substantial contributions to the advancement and development of land mobile radio and communications.

Tait North America President Bill Fredrickson recently accepted the award on behalf of Sir Angus. "This is a very distinguished honour for Angus and also for Tait as a company," he says.

Founded in 1907, the Radio Club of America is the oldest radio club in the world.
