The SWCC is the largest water desalination company in the world and is also responsible for distributing water to all major cities around Saudi Arabia.

In its quest for spectrum efficiency, the SWCC was looking for a reputable communications supplier for the upgrade of its existing analogue network.

Through local Saudi Arabian dealer Timna, Tait was chosen as the preferred supplier, and an agreement for a nationwide TaitNet TN5100 multiple node system roll-out was initiated.

As the first significant step of this ongoing contract with the SWCC, Tait has recently commissioned the first of multiple MPT 1327 sites at the company’s Jeddah plant.

System sites will be installed in a further seven desalination plants and associated pipelines throughout the Kingdom in the near future.
