Tait Electronics Launches Additions to TB7100 Base Station Product Range

Today, Tait Electronics, a leading mobile radio communications company launched additions to the existing TB7100 base station family.

First released as a 25W 12VDC for VHF and UHF frequency bands, the new range includes 25W 66-88MHz, 50W VHF, 40W UHF, and an internal AC power supply option.

The TB7100 raises the bar for analogue base stations, offering easy-to-use features and proven RF performance which is capable of integrated internal full duplex operation for either a voice or data channel.

The 50/40W versions are ideal for network sites, particularly those using multiple channels and combining equipment. It is also an ideal platform for mobile data applications such as Automatic Vehicle Location/GPS tracking and high speed data transfer.

Combined with TaitNet TN1100 trunking equipment at a single site, the TB7100 can also be used as part of a very affordable multi-channel trunked network, providing sophisticated private and group calls and telephone interconnect for hotels, shopping centres and major events.

The TB7100 is the only base station on the market to provide continuous duty cycle up to 50W power output, high speed data up to 19.2kbps, an internal AC power supply and an internal duplexer in a compact 1U format.

It is wall mountable and easy to install, using an optional internal duplexer requiring only a single antenna, saving valuable rack space at radio sites. The internal AC Power Supply option provides seamless AC/DC changeover on mains failure and reverse DC polarity protection.
