Tait Electronics Grows Trunked Mobiles Range

New TM8235 and enhanced TM8255 provide a variety of radio solutions for trunked network operators and users

Tait Electronics, a leading mobile radio communications company, today announced the latest additions to the innovative TM8000 trunked mobile series with the release of the cost-effective TM8235 and an enhanced TM8255 dual mode trunked/conventional mobile.

Announcing the TM8235

The TM8235 trunked mobile is a MPT 1327 radio that simplifies the functionality of the more sophisticated TM8255, making it the perfect choice for users and operators that are looking for the strength of a trunked network without the extra trimmings.

Sporting an intuitive and user-friendly interface, the TM8235 allows full access for fleets of all sizes with 3-digit dialling capabilities (0-999).

It also comes with 100 conventional channels complete with built-in CTCSS and DCS to allow for access to conventional radio networks as needed or when out of range of the trunked network.

The enhanced TM8255

The TM8255 dual mode trunked/conventional radio now offers Direct Connect GPS, GPS Display option in trunking mode, Multiple MPT Network Support and a maximum of 250 MPT Trunked Channel Blocks.

Unlike many competitor products at a similar price, the TM8235 and TM8255 each offer MAP27 data capability and Direct Connect GPS as standard.

Combining advanced Digital Signal Processor technology, exceptional RF performance and a rugged design, the TM8235 and TM8255 boast all the key features of the TM8000 range.
