New TP8100 already flying!

The newly-launched TP8100 has already achieved a number of sales successes. Chief amongst these is the deal with Air France, the French national airline, which has placed an order for over 800 of the new hand-portable.

"This shows how appealing the new TP8100 is for many customers" said Tait Europe Managing Director Darek Wieczorek.

The deal, which was achieved by one of Tait's long-standing business partners in France, Sysoco, entails not only the handportables.

They are part of a 2 site Tait TN3100 trunking system which Air France will be using at Orly airport near Paris, one of the French capital's two major hubs. Sysoco has already achieved the sale of 12 similar Tait systems for use by Air France at regional airports across France, but are now happy to be able to offer the TP8100 to this important customer.

"The TP8100 is an excellent package - robust, reliable yet offering excellent functionality - and we are pleased to be able to achieve this important contract" said Pierre de Quillacq, Managing Director of Sysoco. "Usually, the sales cycle takes a little while, from Tait launching to its dealers and distributors to them then presenting it to their customers and subsequently receiving orders." says EamonnByrne, Tait Europe's Regional Sales Manager.

"In the case of the TP8100, it has already proven very popular after its launch in September/October this year and we are already seeing much higher order levels than we would anticipate at this stage in a product's life. This is, naturally, very pleasing" he continued.
