Tait toasts TP8100 success and launches new model
Tait has introduced a no-keypad/no-display model to its successful TP8100 series. The new 16 channel conventional TP8110 complements the limited keypad and full keypad conventional and trunked models.
"When we launched the TP8100 portable radio less than six months ago, the key message was 'communications you can count on'. This has proved a compelling proposition for professionals working in challenging conditions, remote locations and on possibly hazardous tasks," said Tony Davis, Product Manager, Portables.
"But the fact is that not all customers will need the functionality of the TP8140 with its 24 character screen and well laid out alphanumeric keypad. For some straightforward applications and voice-only communications, the easy-to-use and keenly priced TP8110 will be ideal," added Tony.
"Since launch, buyers such as Air France and Nicaraguan Police have responded well to the quality of manufacture which makes the TP8100 tough, reliable, dustproof and waterproof*," concluded Tony. The TP8110 has the same design and MIL-STD 810 F/IP67 ratings, power options and comprehensive accessories as all the TP8100 series.
Backed up by Tait customisation capability and network expertise, the TP8110 is ideal as a large system solution tailored to fit a particular need.
* IP67 immersed in up to 1m water for 30 mins.
