HOUSTON , TX (February 27, 2008) – Tait Radio Communications adds key personnel to its sales staff to accommodate growing market demand for Tait’s products and services.

John Hobbs will join the Tait team as vice president of sales for the East area. He has over 27 years experience in sales with 19 years specifically related to land mobile radio with companies such as Ericsson, Nice Systems and Raytheon JPS Communications.

With his significant experience in the mobile communication industry, he is excited to join Tait in a role where his knowledge and expertise will help continue to grow and build upon Tait’s increasing market success.

Hobbs holds a Bachelor of Arts from Michigan State University and an MBA from Duke University. He has a proven record managing both direct and indirect sales staff, support staff, negotiations, customer satisfaction and product development.

Hobb’s appointment completes the strategy to split sales responsibility in North America into three areas: East, West and Central. This enables the area sales vice presidents more time to focus on promoting system solutions, developing Tait Solution Providers and offering unmatched industry service and satisfaction to Tait customers.

Hobbs will have responsibility for the Eastern United States area which includes most of the New England, Eastern and Southern states, the District of Columbia, as well as the US Federal market.

Scott Skibness becomes vice president of sales for the Central area and is responsible for much of the Midwestern and Northern states and Canada, as well as the Utility and Transportation markets.

Doug Chapman assumes the role of vice president of sales for the West area. He will be responsible for all Western states including Alaska and Hawaii, and will oversee Product Marketing as well.
