Tait Radio Communications continues to amaze the North American market with continued sales success in Public Safety, Utilities and Transportation markets.

For years Tait has been a major worldwide supplier of MPT1327 systems as well as the legendary Quasi-sync™ simulcast networks.

Now Tait has become one of the major players in APCO P25 network solutions with the ability to offer P25 Conventional, Trunked and Simulcast networks. Tait offers a full line of encryption solutions which include AES, DES and OTAR and has also developed its own PDA P25 KFD Key loader that will debut at IWCE.

“I am extremely impressed with what Tait’s development team has accomplished over the past several years to position us as a turnkey solution provider in the North American market,” said Bill Fredrickson, President of Tait Radio Communications in North America.

Tait established its reputation in North America as an infrastructure supplier with a core competency in base stations. “Very often it is Tait technology that is used as the core network technology with another supplier’s mobiles and portables. This helped keep Tait as one of the best kept secrets in the industry,” added Fredrickson.

Tait’s strengths have always laid in the design and functionality of its base stations. The TB8100 and TB9100 base stations are, by far, the most advanced and intelligent on the market today. Tait has also added industry leading mobile radios with multiple head and body configurations as well as a new, tough TP8100 portable. Tait has demonstrated the ability to compete on any level with one of the most complete network offerings available in the market.

“As I travel North America, customers tell me they are looking for an innovative and flexible alternative to traditional suppliers,” says Fredrickson. “Tait has quietly and quickly become THE alternative for agencies and enterprises seeking a fully integrated solution at the best absolute value. We have demonstrated the ability and willingness to collaborate with multiple third party suppliers and partners to create the best fit of features, functionality, and value for customers,” adds Fredrickson.

Third party network suppliers can use Tait’s industry leading Application Programming Interface (API) to custom tailor network integration needs. “Customers like the idea of a manufacturer that will listen and respond to their needs as opposed to being told what they need,” said Fredrickson.

With various products under development such as Digital Mobile radio (DMR) networks, Tait continues to expand its market position while refining the cornerstone products like MPT1327 as an IP based network. Tait continues to invest in APCO P25 solutions and isexpanding its solution set for trunking, conventional and simulcast offerings. “One of our secrets to success is that ‘We are big enough to get the job done, yet small enough to care,” said Fredrickson.
