Tait Radio Communications announces today that Steve Cragg has been appointed as the President of Tait North America. As a 20-year Tait veteran, Steve takes the helm as the North American organization's growth and staff expansion moves to another level. Former President of Tait North America, Bill Fredrickson, moves to a new, strategic role with responsibility for the utility market sector on a global basis.

Cragg previously served as president for Tait in North America between 1997 – 2001. “I am excited about being back heading up the North American operation. Much has changed while I have been away managing International sales. Coming back, it's great to see large customers in utilities and public safety committing to Tait and how our APCO P25 offering has become one of the most comprehensive in the market."

Bill Fredrickson has stepped into a new role as Senior Vice President responsible for the Global Utility Sector. "Tait is going through a period of strategic global refocus on its key markets in public safety, utilities and urban transportation. Bill’s experience in the utilities sector makes him the ideal candidate for a global marketing role focusing on the needs of these crucial customers," added Steve.

"What I bring is experience of large-scale implementations and a track record of managing a top performing sales team.  Our salesforce here in North America has certainly grown in scale and capability in this past year; demonstrating Tait's commitment to service and responsiveness across America and Canada. I'm eager to build on that."
