Tait ensures its products meet regulatory compliance in all of its markets.

Why should you choose TaitNet MPT 1327?

When you purchase a TaitNet system you pick the features you require. We can provide modular systems tailored to customers' specific requirements, meaning no excessive costs due to unnecessary functionality - pay for exactly what you need.

If you choose a proprietary trunked radio system you can be locked into buying from one supplier, however if you choose an open standard MPT 1327 system you have the choice of buying equipment from more than 30 suppliers.

In turn, greater choice leads to more competitive pricing and superior features.

What is trunked radio?

Trunking provides access to a shared pool of radio channels. When you want to place an individual or group call, a channel is allocated to all participants.

The call takes place in private and once it is completed, the channel is returned to the pool for others to use. Sharing channels increases the availability of airtime to all users.

Major benefits of trunked radio

  • Control of your own radio communications network
  • Cost-effective infrastructure allows both voice and data on the same system
  • Efficient radio communications over a large geographic area
  • Efficient management of your people with the ability to organise radios into private one-to- one, fleet and group calls
  • Smart calling features such as call back, to connect you with people you have been trying to reach.
