Tait Electronics is a leading provider of advanced voice and data radio communications solutions for mobile organisations throughout the world.

We have been designing and manufacturing mobile radio products and solutions for four decades, developing the Tait name to be synonymous with innovation, flexibility and commitment to the radio communications market.

Working with selected business partners, Tait provides integrated radio communications solutions for industries such as public safety, government, utilities, transport, and national security.

Our corporate headquarters is in Christchurch, New Zealand, where we design and manufacture all products. Corporate facilities include research and development, manufacturing, technical support and marketing/sales support operations.

The Tait Group

Tait operates wholly-owned customer service facilities in Australia, Singapore, Thailand, China, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Canada, United States, and New Zealand.

The Tait Group also includes Auriga Systems, Europe's leading supplier of computerised fleet management systems for taxi and private hire companies.  Tait purchased Auriga in 2001, demonstrating its continuing focus on mobile data solutions for the transport sector.

Our initiatives

Tait is a prime driver in the establishment of a national Wireless Research Centre in New Zealand.

This initiative is part of the New Zealand ICT Innovation Institute at the University of Canterbury, and Tait is a founding partner.

The new venture will be an academic centre of excellence intended to investigate new radio technologies.
