About Tait Radio Communications

Tait Radio Communications Ltd (TRC) was formed in December 2002 from the previous international sales division of Tait Electronics Ltd.

Based in Christchurch, New Zealand, TRC distributes Tait products and solutions through widely established dealer networks in countries throughout the Middle East, Indian sub-continent, Latin America and Africa.

Our customers range from large government organisations, national security operations and public safety departments, through to regional network providers and smaller privately owned organisations from sectors such as transport, mining and utilities.

Many of TRC’s business relationships with customers in these regions were established more than 25 years ago. 

Today the TRC team consists of 30 staff, covering all aspects of the business including sales, engineering, marketing, operations and finance.

Tait is renowned for producing robust and reliable portable and mobile radios and network equipment that performs in the harshest of environments. Our wide range of analogue and APCO P25 digital terminals and systems form the communications backbone for organisations and operations in some 160 countries.

MiMOMax Ltd, a Tait Group sister company, is at the cutting edge of the emerging Multiple Input / Multiple Output (MiMO) radio technologies which allow large quantities of data to be sent at high speed over wireless networks.
