Tait has launched its new 8000 Series of high performance base stations and mobiles into North America.

At the world's largest gathering of public safety communications officials - the APCO International annual conference and exposition in Indianapolis - Tait has launched its new 8000 Series of high performance base stations and mobiles into North America.

Tait's significant presence at the APCO International conference helped to reinforce its brand in the United States radio communications market, and General Manager Global Sales and Marketing Mike Fraser says the conference was successful for Tait on all counts.

"It was encouraging to learn how many attendees at the conference had already heard of Tait. We've been working to build awareness of Tait North America this year, and this conference proved that our efforts are certainly paying off," Mr Fraser says.

Conference attendees ranged from senior communications officers to county sheriffs, and many were enthusiastic about Tait's innovative new 8000 Series of mobile and base station products and the company's future product offerings.

Steady traffic visited the Tait stand during the conference, with Tait product and senior managers from Tait North America and Tait's New Zealand headquarters on hand to provide information and answer questions.
