Radio solutions provider, Tait Radio Communications, is hitting the road and discussing its Digital Mobile Radio (DMR) plans with customers and partners around the world.DMR

Tait was a founding signatory to the DMR MoU, instrumental in shaping the DMR standard and is already working with customers who are seeking to migrate from conventional and MPT 1327 trunking systems to DMR. Any organisation considering upgrading to a frequency-efficient digital solution will be able to discuss the potential opportunities with Tait.

"IWCE and the other tradeshows are ideal times to share our plans with customers and other organisations in the public safety, utilities and transport markets and listen to their feedback," said Michael Chick, CEO of Tait Electronics Limited.

"Customers are clear in their view that they need the added features and channel capacity that DMR will deliver to them and know, with Tait entering this market, the added vendor selection will bring them choice and value."

"Tait customers know that Tait products and network technology have an enviable reputation for being reliable, affordable and have the advantage of being able to be tailored to a user's specific needs. As they are introduced, we will employ the same philosophy for our tier of TB8300 digital base stations, TM8300 digital mobiles and TP8300 digital portables."

"Tait customers also know they need a partner to support any move from Analogue to Digital and to team up with experienced and flexible radio people who can commit to making this happen. That partnership philosophy is why the Tait approach to DMR will appeal. Tait customers can also be assured their current and future MPT trunked systems will continue to be supported and improved - allowing them to enjoy the prolonged benefits of proven reliability and affordability," concluded Michael.
